Extraction of raw materials

Christchurch Ready Mix Concrete Ltd operates three land based quarries that extract material for processing into specialty sand and aggregates products. We also hold resource consents to extract raw materials from Canterbury rivers.

 

 

 

 

Specialty Sands

Christchurch Readymix Concrete Ltd is a manufacturer of high specification sands for use in applications such as turf sand for golf courses and stadiums. We also produce sands for manufacture of Concrete products, Concrete pipes and masonry.

 

 

 

 

Screening and Crushing of aggregates

Crushed aggregates are produced at CRMC's Belfast processing site. These include;
Sealing chip, Top course, Base course, Ballast, Drainage chip, Crusher dust.

Natural screen products are produced at Amberley, North end Sand and Shingle, Belfast, Kettlewell drive and by mobile screening plant.
these include,
Concrete sand, Washed graded rounds, Tailings, Boulders, Pea metal and Premix.

 

 

Bulk Transport

CRMC run a fleet of modern trucks from small tippers suitable for domestic deliveries and tradesman, through to heavy truck and trailer units capable of carting maximum pay loads.

 

 

 

 

Heavy Haulage

CRMC run a four axle transporter capable of carting a large range of heavy construction equipment.
